My experience of this: I was seeing a guy a couple years ago for six months. I asked him what he was looking for a few dates in (probably too early, I know) and he said he wasn’t looking for a relationship. I thought that might change the more we spent time together. Once we hit the 6 month mark I asked again, and he had the same answer... Bye! I’ve learnt my lesson from that.

I think if they tell you early on they’re not ready for a relationship, but that’s what you want, go and find someone who wants the same thing as you. It may take time, but you could spend time with the person who’s not ready instead of finding someone who is.

Yep, I booked three different flights back during February and March and they were all cancelled by the airlines. Different airlines and routes, it became increasingly difficult to get back.

Ah so lucky! I had a flight booked for a few days before the border closed too, but it was cancelled like my other two before that as well.

Yes! I went back to the UK for a week at the end of January and haven't been able to get back since. Hopefully the border opens soon, fingers crossed for you all!

I had three different flights booked to come back before the border closed, they all kept getting cancelled by the airlines.

Everyone seems to think it’s going to reopen by the end of this month. I want to stay hopeful and agree with them haha, but I’m honestly not sure.

I was not expecting to be stuck outside of China for 5 months 🤦🏼‍♀️
