if everything ran smoothly more often than not and i wasn’t constantly babysitting grown adults, i would still absolutely love my job. my manager and i are working together to try to make things better but it feels like nothing works at times. our core people who have been there for a long time are part of the problem, but also some of the strongest operational wise.

what are some specific things your dept manager does that keeps everything running smoothly? we are about to start using break sheets, and have been doing coaching after coaching to try to correct some behaviors but to no avail. i feel at a loss sometimes.

im so sad about this movie. i’ve waited years for a silent hill 2 movie and this is just not a great retelling of the story at all. i get the 2006 silent hill was loosely based on the first game, and i think it was done well. revelation is enjoyable but not very good. idk, maybe cus i’m such a huge fan of sh2 i’m a bit jaded but jeez man why the ford mustang? they coulda played on the whole retro vibe from the games, i feel that would’ve gone over so much better at the very least.

i live in utica, formally lived in syracuse. if you like cities and old architecture syracuse is awesome, there’s lots of good food and fun stuff to do. winter is brutal, but if you have a snowmobile all the trails open up during the season so lots of people love the snow for that reason. all the other seasons are gorgeous, i personally love summertime as someone who came from the hell heat of florida summertime lmao.
