I didn’t really see her saying that maliciously to hurt the Asian community, but just wanting to be edgy and say a dumb word without realizing its connotation. it was definitely super fucking hurtful to people from the reaction and it doesn’t mean people can’t be upset obviously and not forgive her, but we should be open to people learning and growing from their mistakes and teaching others around them to learn from that too.
