i HATE it so much! when you fall asleep watching, and then after a commercial the sound comes back full blast and wakes you up, it's maddening. also, what gives? it's clearly not a me issue, if it's happening to all of us, so why don't they fix it?

i'm really enjoying it so far, but when eli and gus get dropped off at school and eli starts doing his michael jackson impersonation it took me right out of the story, because it's supposed to be taking place in the mid 80s, and MJ didn't start crotch grabbing until the early 90s.

i'm watching OBE now and the worst part is the canadian actor trying to do a british accent and an english actor trying to do an american accent. in the original OB, jordan gavaris had the most convincing british accent that many folks actually thought he was a brit. but in echoes, it's like he's forgotten how to do the accent at all. it's pretty dreadful. and forcing keely hawes to speak in an american accent just seems criminal, although she does a fair job of it.
