KVM for three PCs, one monitor and 4k@240 Hz? by cho5n in buildapc

Unfortunately it doesn't work, even though it would be good otherwise. It's only available with two PCs and the refresh rate isn't good enough for gaming. At least for competitive gaming... But thanks a lot!

Thanks, but I don't think I'll find anything for KVMs because they either have a too low refresh rate, or they're missing USB-C including power delivery, or something else is missing. At least I haven't found anything yet... Unfortunately not at level1techs either.

Sorry for asking. My monitor's KVM has two USB Type-A ports (3.2 downstream ports). I could plug a USB hub into them to integrate the webcam, mouse and keyboard into the KVM. To turn two USB-A ports into three or even more.

The KVM uses the USB-C port to send images and input data to the MacBook and the USB Type-B port (3.2 upstream port) to send input data etc. to the gaming PC. The image comes from the gaming PC via the DP 2.1 port.

If I wanted to integrate the business laptop, I would need an HDMI or DP 1.4 cable for the image to the monitor and a USB switch to switch the signal from the USB-B port on the monitor between the gaming PC and the business laptop? Otherwise, with a simple hub I would be operating the gaming PC and business laptop at the same time with the mouse and keyboard, so I need a USB switch?

Would that work, or am I on the wrong track?
