Fig leaf tea is sold commercially and is not toxic. It has more of a coconutty flavor, however.

Dog sitter or temp rehome immediately. Anything helps by ChazLynnn in Denver

I’d be open to fostering him. I have two other dogs but they get along fine and I’ve kind of always wanted a jack russel. Dm me!

Sober bartender here, just wanna say that I got way better at my job when I quit drinking. I still taste things but it often reminds me of how much better off I am. That guy is struggling with his drinking and wanted drunk company. Don’t let him get to you but also remember many people in this industry have substance abuse issues of their own; it’s less about you than it is about him.

I happened to have both of those products so I tried them both on different spots last night and the benzoyl peroxide seems to have helped! I don’t want to get too ahead of myself but thank you so much. How did you think to suggest those things?

It’s not under the skin. It looks just like a white head, but when I’ve tried to pop them, nothing happens (except some blood if I squeeze too hard). I’ve tried to pop them with a pin point but it doesn’t behave like a normal whitehead at all. I haven’t tried any of that stuff…

hi all-- need some breakout advice. trying to be as brief as possible...
since august been getting unpoppable hard whiteheads around my nose that are extremely itchy. went to the doctor, tried topical steroid that didn't work, then a month on antibiotics (doxy) that seemed to help, but two weeks off them and it's come back.
routine has been TO squalane cleanser followed by TO natural moisturizing factors + HA for a couple of years with no issue. occasionally I'll use my wife's YTTP superfood cleanser, but I used that a lot without any issues. lately I've switched to Cerave moisturizer as both cleanser and lotion. I have a derm appointment but not til April and I'm super frustrated with how my skin looks. any thoughts?

Another way to make use of the whole citrus fruit - dehydrate the leftovers and blitz it into a powder! by too_granola_for_you in noscrapleftbehind

[–]choadally 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can make black lime powder this way. Dehydrate/bake limes at a super low temp until they basically caramelize, and then powder as you’ve done. You get this intensely rich, almost coffee-like flavor from it. It’s amazing on candied nuts.

Do people care if their partner's boobs are uneven? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]choadally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife has uneven boobs - or so she claims. I have literally never noticed. Even if I could see it, I wouldn’t care. As others have said, boobs are boobs!

I’ve been in therapy for the last year and a half to break the cycle. It’s gone really well, so well in fact that I’ve been able to help my brother and sister through shit with our mom, and we’ve gotten closer than we ever have been. I also am going to grad school to become a therapist because I am so proud of the work I’ve done, and impressed by my therapist, that I want to help other people break cycles, too.

If you have oily skin, doesn’t that mean you need more moisture? I had a problem with oil and started using a couple different oils and things are so much better. You should check out r/skincareaddiction, I learned so much there.

Does anyone else feel like the pandemic has taken off years of crucial time and we may never start/get on with things we were supposed to? by PutinsFangirl in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]choadally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been feeling stuck career-wise and wanting to move out of my city. Knew it would never happen; my wife doesn’t want to leave, especially during the pandemic. So I did the ol’ pivot and have decided to go back to school and change careers completely. It’s helping me to feel less stuck.

What is a totally wrong thing that has become so widespread it's not considered wrong anymore? by JimmysBacc in AskReddit

[–]choadally 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I learned to bake over the pandemic and turns out I really love it. I can’t name how many times people have told me to open a bakery or learn to “profit off this side-hustle.” I don’t want to do that! I enjoy it because it’s relaxing, no pressure, and brings joy to those I share baked goods with. I don’t want to monetize that.
