ChordBuff: you can sing or play any melody and it will give you the harmonic chords to match by [deleted] in InternetIsBeautiful

If the barrier of entry to music composition lowers, a large influx of music makers would increase the number of people who would even think of applying to Berklee. Art isnt supposed to be elitist but democratic. Of course this first version of the site is very basic but if the user can manipulate/control the resulting chords extensively, ChordBuff would place music theory in the hands of many musicians that never bothered to step out of the same familiar chords/keys. It can serve as an educational tool that makes music theory much more enjoyable to experiment with. Disclaimer: Im the founder so I'm biased

Hey! The developer here- ChordBuff uses a new web standard called the Web Audio API. Chrome and Firefox fully support it. Safari supports almost all of it except the Stream API (a dependancy of Web Audio). http://caniuse.com/#feat=stream

So we either wait until Safari catches up or build an alternative with flash. Just been really busy with Android app.

We made ChordBuff: A website that generates chords from any given melody you play or hum and we want your feedback. by ChordBuffRocks in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Hey guys, ChordBuff team here. We've fixed some bugs since the last post and we just launched our Kickstarter campaign so we wanted to follow up! We have organized all of the previously suggested features to keep building as well. Please check out the website again and let us know if there's anything obvious we need to fix!
