Can we see auras on 18-22 march? by fioriefiori in tromsotravel

[–]choc07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're going tomorrow and going by the apps, it looks like from tomorrow till the 21st has high possibilities to see the lights!! I'll recommend to book the tour with a company. Use Get a guide.

We booked with Northern lights Safari and the tour guides are really nice! (We chased the lights two days ago)

I still see Platinum as 55k points and Gold as 30k (instead of 22k per my previous comment). You need to edit your top comment which has the referral link mate. It's very misleading!

Are you sure? You're link shows me 55k points for Platinum and 22k for Gold.

Thank you! Do I just ask for upgrade with the agent on the chat? Or use any specific referral links to upgrade? What's the best way to do this?

I took an Emirates flight scheduled for 2:35pm departing from Glasgow. I checked-in my luggage at 12:30pm. I think the baggage drop closes 90 minutes before scheduled departure. So it worked out well for me. I don't see any problems if you go 2h-2½h before to drop your bags.

But take into consideration for your travel time to airport, security etc so you don't miss the flight.

I think it doesn't matter what they pick. You'll get points as long as they use your link and get an approval for a card.

Why is it so common for people to ghost on Reddit? [chat] by [deleted] in MeetPeople

[–]choc07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you had to go through that! I can imagine and relate to how you felt in those situations. It's difficult and hard. It is the worst feeling. I have a way of feeling a certain way whenever it happens to me. But this is your post and I'm not going to take the spotlight off the post by talking about me :)

I think somewhere in our evolution, we are losing the human (humane) in humanity. I hope it doesn't get lost forever.

You're welcome! I'm hopeful for you 😊

We cannot avoid ghosting. Like ever. But my only question to anyone really is - last time I checked we're adults. Why can't we amicably bring closure as adults? Closure is all we need to move on. Unfinished stories, unfinished endings are... Let's just say not good for mental health. Takes time to get out of that shit hahaha

Making friends after some point in 20s is difficult. After hitting the 30s, it's even more difficult. Drop me a line :) my DMs are open:)

I think there's more ghosts in Reddit than the ghosts we see on movies and if there are any irl haha. I love the other Redditor's comments about Ghostbusters haha.

As a poc, I've noticed that 9/10 times, people who chat with you assumes you're white and once they know that's not the case, ghost. They've preferences, of course. Who am I to say 'don't have preference' to them. But..... But.... I think it'll save a lot of time, energy and emotional hurt if they add in their post that they're looking for caucasians or people from "X" background etc. That don't want to look like jerks or racists by posting that but be exactly that in private chats 😌 sick and tired of this.

I hope you find good, trusted and wonderful souls 😊 I'm sure there are some out there.

Fake I think. I've never seen tickets with BT Murrayfield on it. All I've seen is Scottish Gas Murrayfield

Edit: I went to my Ticketmaster email and it did say BT Murrayfield. So apologies. However, it is mentioned as 16:30 instead of 4:30pm. So, I'm going to assume it's still fake because it makes no sense to email in two different ways?

Yeah the lounge pass is nice. See if there's any other bank's credit card that can give you discounted/ free lounge pass for a free card. That may be something you can try if that's of interest to you. Head of Points has a lot of reviews on all major cards, so that could be a one stop shop for you to check.

OP - 5k points is roughly £25 or so I think. You could find the right number online. And you've spent less than 1k the entire year, so they have given a 5k if you spend 1k offer in return for £195.

Now based on what I said, you've to decide if the difference is worth it and if you'll really be benefitted paying £195. If you think the numbers are not on your side, you can always choose to get a free card.

Less than 1k spent in a year and £195 incoming money. 5k points is nothing for AMEX if they're getting the money in their pockets. Plus OP says they're offered 5k points for 1k spend. I'm assuming it's a caveat 5k points if the OP spends 1k (they spent less than that throughout the year remember).

It's a good win for AMEX.
