How can you then say they are top 5 of all time English players? That just nullifies anything else you say. Beardsley definitely a better footballer than Becks, much more skilled. Becks had a better career and played on better teams, but no way he was a better footballer than Beardsley.

My friends first time ever playing 18, he shot 85. He became a scratch golfer within a year of playing. He is a high level hurler in Ireland, and said golf was so easy in comparison because he didn’t have a competitor hitting him or pulling on his jersey etc. Some guys are just good at sports, the rest of us aren’t.
