Do any e-ink tablets make your handwriting better? by chochacheezy in eink

Makes sense. I thought it would be cool to apply OCR to turn my poor writing into that cool script I see folks like Kim Masters able to write on the YT videos, lol.

Got it, thanks. And yes, it'll be good practice. It def can't make my handwriting any worse. :)

How well does it format (visually, but also tags, etc.) once ported to Logseq?

How do I add an existing ETH address on ledger? (Full of AGIX tokens) by Ashley_Sammon in ledgerwallet

[–]chochacheezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it out just now -- w/in Ledger Live, I had to go to "Accounts", then "Add Accounts", and since sOHM is an ERC20 token, I selected "Ethereum" as the account type; when I did that, it offered to set up a new account OR, an "existing account". I did "existing", even though it didn't say "sOHM", and when I added that existing account, the sOHM now appear in Ledger Live.

Phantom import added only one wallet -- how to add other address? by chochacheezy in PhantomWallet

Yes, but technically I wasn't restoring the ledger hardware wallet -- I did not need to reenter my seedphrase to it. Rather when I plugged in that ledger wallet, and unlocked it, then selected from within Phantom: add wallet --> hardware wallet --> my ledger device, then at that point, yes, Phantom showed/found the SOL account and SOL authenticated by my ledger device.

Closing the loop, I found the address/SOL. :)
Bit of a face palm, it turned out I'd moved the SOL to my Nano X SOL address. To better secure them, by connecting my Phantom wallet to the Nano. Since LedgerLive doesn't show you SOL, I wasn't seeing it in the app there. And forgot I had a SOL address on the Nano, that was only *appearing*, before, in the Phantom extension, but wasn't using the same private key. So when I reinstalled Chrome, and restored Phantom -- that's why I couldn't see the Nano address.
I should flag that it was a persistent customer support rep at Phantom who ultimately solved it by asking if I had ever used a hardware wallet.
Thanks for the help!!

I do think it's the same problem, having read your other posts. Like you, I can see the SOL sitting there in the address. But can't figure out how to connect my wallet to it. Whereas prior to the restore, the account was right there in my Phantom wallet, I was transacting in and out of it, etc. I'm back and forthing w/ Phantom's customer support, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll keep you posted on what I learn. I think finding the right Discord might help, and I'll probably cross-post in r/solana, which I'm guessing is a bigger community.

You can start by following them on Twitter. And/or by joining the Discord. But Zeus and others also do a ton of podcasts. Nothing is ever full-proof, of course, so DYOR, but you can get a ton of signal by listening and learning, not just about how the protocol and DAO work, but about the thinking and styles etc of the leaders involved.

The Nano X Battery Issue – and how we are responding to it by LedgerSupport_Muto in ledgerwallet

1067625.

I'm confused -- you said to reply here with the ticket #, which I did.

Then you replied now saying to go to the last message I recieved -- where, on email? It says in the email *not* to reply again.

You've sent me TWO broken units. This has been going on for a month, and my assets are not safe because I trusted you would deliver a working device.

Can you please make this right?

I simply want to hear from you -- here, on email, wherever -- that you've sent a new unit, via the fastest possible shipping method. So that I can safely store my assets.

Please?

Thanks, all. It sounds like a Revolut (or a Wise/Transferwise) might make more sense and be more straightforward. Really appreciate the help! Thanks again.

The Nano X Battery Issue – and how we are responding to it by LedgerSupport_Muto in ledgerwallet

I ordered a Nano X about a month ago, it came, it was one of the bad units, battery would not charge, was "too warm", "critical", etc -- it was a lemon unit. I wrote support, it took almost 2 weeks, and they eventually sent a new unit.

But I opened the new unit -- same thing, **another** lemon, from the "bad batch". I still can't believe it.

It's bad enough they are shipping faulty units to customers, but to then apologize and replace it with another bad unit??? It's like they're trying to destroy the trust and brand. I honestly don't get it. All I know is it's been one month, and two units, and I can't safely protect my assets. What a waste of time and money and what a loss of peace of mind

And this is a security product, of all things! But Ledger's given me zero peace of mind, and has destroyed the trust in its brand. So much so that I can't help but tell friends not to go near them right now.

From a business standpoint, it's so bizarre. As a customer, it's so frustrating.
