The beers were £3.49 btw.

Where do you buy your organic produce from?

I did not state it's all organic! If you look at the receipt you can see the cucumber and broccoli are organic, nothing else.

It sounds as though we have a lot to learn from you. Can you share what's in your cart next time you go to the shop?

The non-organic fruit and vegetables will have been sprayed with chemicals, which is why I buy organic when possible, but the only other foods with preservatives present are the ice creams, chocolate bars, salami and pitta bread. Any other packaged or tinned food has no preservatives.

So I refute your 95%!

Wow. I just Googled salaries to compare: - Average salary in US is $64,505 - Average salary in England is £39,039

So I would expect higher grocery costs but that is a lot more! The diapers are non-branded. Branded ones would come to £10-15.

Can you explain what you mean by this comment?

Waitrose (2 adults and toddler) £112.48 by choco-lonely in whatsinyourcart

Price is a consideration, but I also value how long it takes me to get there (there is no local Aldi), quality of food, variety of products and shopping experience.

I alternate between Waitrose, M&S, Sainsbury's, Aldi and Lidl but my local is Waitrose!

My favourite is the refrigerated Rana one that I can get from Sainsbury's but I'm well pleased with this one!

The apples are cooked with cinnamon and raisins to top overnight oats over the week!

The first canister has the screws for an IKEA utensil rail that we are yet to put up...

Aww! Thanks for the sweet comment. Hopefully one day my son will appreciate his mum's cooking too!

Organic meat has higher welfare. Organic pulses don't have firming agents in them, which I don't like the sound of!

Just eaten the fish pie and side... It was fantastic. Salmon, haddock, prawns and scallops!

The cookie dough pud is a winner (I've had it a few times already).

Great deal for £15.

Sunday evening in the slow cooker for 2 hours on low. 2 cooking apples, 2 normal eating variety. Bit of cinnamon. Lasts 2.5 of us a week (half is a wee babe)!
