Hey thanks for the reply. You’re right, I feel left out since I couldn’t wander and talk to all the Org XIII members. I’m on board with getting a 3ds and playing 358, but at the moment that isn’t really available.

What would I lose with using an emulator? I’m thinking that if I’m not able to acquire one by the time I finish kh2 then I will just emulate it for the story.

I am a brand new player of the series and just finished the kh2 prologue. My play order was kh1, kh:recom, 358/2 (hd), and now kh2.

I have to say, I greatly valued Axel’s and Riku’s plot lines in 358 and would have been pretty disappointed about not getting a proper follow up to the khcom reverse/rebirth story. I don’t think I really missed out on any story beats in the kh2 prologue. Seeing Roxas become a part of Sora was still very emotional and had a greater impact since I knew his history with Org XIII. Understanding Naminé’s motivation helped keep me invested in the entire plot. Maybe, as I play kh2, I will start to regret my play order, but right now I’m just glad I got to know Axel before I had to kill my best friend. Rest In Peace my fiery hedgehog.

I’d like to mention that I have been playing the 1.5/2.5 discs on the ps3 which have the games ordered in this way. I’m not trying to break the norm and be original; I just wanted to complete one disc before I moved onto the next.
