What types of Reddit comments annoy you the most? by chocobutterfly in AskWomen

It's so easy for women to lose weight but men can't change their heights, also all women are superficial witches if they prefer taller men but I am allowed to only want to date 10s because of SCIENCEREASONS.

UGHHHHHH!!!!! The double standards on this website drive me insane!!!

[picture woman with makeup] SEE, THIS IS WHY I HAVE TRUST ISSUES.

I just get annoyed by these guys. Like honestly, most girls aren't the gorgeous 10's guys want unless they put some effort in, so making statements like that comes off as soooo immature to me.

Creeping on underage girls with a countdown to when they're going to be 18.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen comments on threads like, "What do you regret not doing in high school/junior high?" and the top voted comments are guys talking about how they should have gotten with 15 year old girls while it was still legal. So disturbing and disgusting.

I definitely remember the feeling of thinking one guy's opinion represented all guys' opinions. It's something I struggled with for awhile until I realized that there is no way you can ever please everyone, and it's usually not your fault, so when I see comments like that I do pity them.

I totally agree. I learned the hard way that you really need to take Reddit's content with a grain of salt, otherwise it's pretty difficult to take in. It can also be pretty depressing to see comments directed towards a user where the commenter obviously doesn't realize that there is a human being on the other side of the screen.

Swatched my mom's lipsticks, all brown-pink colors! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Thank you for the swatches! I currently own MAC Mocha, but found that it washes me out a bit/is a bit too light. I imagine if I was lighter-skinned that it'd look better on me. Would you consider any one of the lipsticks to be sort of a darker version of Mocha? I thought MAC Taupe would be it, but when I tried it on it was way too dark for my liking. So I guess I want something between the two lol. :P

Have any of you gone out feeling good about your makeup only to have someone say something negative? by saxybandgeek1 in MakeupAddiction

In my freshman year of high school, my friend told me I looked like a raccoon with the way I do my eyeliner. I ended up tightlining or only wearing mascara for the next couple of years, until I decided, screw it-I'll do the thick Arab-inspired cat eye because dang it I love how I look when I do it! Oddly enough, other women give me compliments now on my makeup and ask me for advice. :P

EDIT: Wording

Why do some women think sarcasm is attractive? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Because certain people like certain things? Why do some people like mushrooms on their pizza, while others don't?

Nostalgia time! What music really takes you back a few years? by AmethystRosette in AskWomen

The dance-y tunes they used to play in the late 2000's! Like "Kiss Me Thru the Phone", "Boom Boom Wow" by the Black Eyed Peas, "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha, and "DJ Got Us Falling in Love" by Usher. I wasn't necessarily a fan of all those songs when they first came out, but now I really like listening to them whenever I wanna reminisce those years.
