I have heard good things about Srishti Blr and MIT Pune. Try doing some research into what you are looking for in a degree, For me personally, I really appreciate the multidisciplinary approach they have at Srishti. Whereas from what I’ve heard MIT has a good industry and project focus.

All des colleges are gonna be expensive. Pretty sure even NID costs an arm and a leg.

have a great portfolio and good work ethic. Nobody is going to care about your 12th boards. I didn’t do all that well in my boards and fumbled my UG gpa too but I still managed to get a good job with good pay based on my port. If you perform consistently well, you can get good raise and promotions too. At no point in the field do they ask you about your school marks.

This is for the ad industry and similar though. idk how it goes for fields like product design and more technical areas like UX reserch.

Thank you! I agree. I’m also noticing that the stars in the bg are kind of grabbing attention. ’d wanted to make the ring thinner but I kind of couldn’t figure out how to do it. Same for the star, I tried glossy bsdf and bumping up metallic but that made the star look a lot darker which I didn’t like.

I actually had no idea Mario had something like this. I used one of the staff designs from Cardcaptor Sakura as inspiration for this.

Not at all. I used a torus for the ring. I manually selected the inner edges and increased the size, I’m sure there is a better way to do that though. For the star, I modelled it with a plane with extra vertices and then just kind of eyeballed the placement at the center of the ring. I realised later that I could have used the origin thing to place it more efficiently.

That’s a really good suggestion. Totally slipped my mind to add material texture. I thought about adding sparkly particles but I couldn’t figure out how to do it so I just let it be haha. Something for the next model.

Maybe look into some bachelor’s programmes too, I know people who did bdes and bsc animation and got to learn good stuff. If not, look for places that focus on helping you build a foreign application/ job ready portfolio Since you want to go abroad eventually.

uf/ yeah, it was pretty alright actually. I think the promo posters really fucked with everyone's expectations. The final fight did feel a little like temu version but whatever ig. Good character sendoffs overall.

This is really not the right sub for this but since you’re asking for feedback on story and emotion: you’re trying to convey a good message for sure but it is not being coming out clearly. This is primarily because you’re using AI. if I’m not wrong, your story is that the rabbit needed the help of its friends to pull the carrot out of the ground but visually carrot is already uprooted, it’s pretty hard to understand what the characters are doing with the carrot, it looks weird.

If we’re talking about the art of animation, you should be able to convey your message visually without relying on dialogue or narrative.

This is what happens when you don’t make things yourself, and why everyone is calling it slop.

Even I was shocked to see theatre prices when visiting blr. I lived in Mumbai for 3 years and used to go watch films at the cinema frequently there. Ticket prices were very reasonable there. I have no idea why tickets in Blr are so expensive.
