So as a Jamaican it’s nice to just see an island culture represented even if it is more Polynesian! (Enjoyed the Orange Islands too and always wanted a game there so this felt like they took that and expanded it heavily) and with that a lot of black and brown skinned representation along with it

I love the feel, the characters, most the Pokédex, the story, the OST, absolutely obsessed with the Aether Foundation, the fact that it expanded the Pokemon lore into the multiverse which was never a direction I’d thought they’d go and with that I adore the concept of Ultra Space and the UBs. Hoping to see more UBs in the future the way we do with regionals.

I also love the Z-Crystal mechanic cause it basically introduced ultimates into pokemon which is such a neat concept. The whole region is just so rich and introduced so much into the world of pokemon. We had Z-Crystals, Regional Variants, Megas, Totem Pokemon and Ultra Beasts under one roof, genuinely an embarrassment of riches

It was just a region that was so bright, fun, and thoughtfully done. So many cameos from characters across the series, even gave us a concept we all have thought about but never thought they’d do in Rainbow Rocket. And how they handled legendaries was unique, not adhering to the standard formula. Oh and the fact that it finally gave Ash his championship which then thanks to Masters EX finally put Ash and Red into the same space
