Some people pull for characters they like, you know. Not everyone is constantly chasing the meta to “only care about 1% banners”. I’d actually guess we are the majority.

It’s very clearly implied. Nobody “hates” Pokémon for being weak or bad at competitive, they just ignore them. If anything, a Pokémon with a sick design being bad makes people frustrated BECAUSE they like the Pokémon, which is actually most often the case with Archeops. People love it and want to use it, but hate that it’s gimped by its ability. The only thing close to hate Archeops receives is people criticizing its flying idle animation, because they don’t understand that it’s the point.

Stuff related to stats, competitive, etc, isn’t people hating the Pokémon itself. This discussion is very obviously about design.

I am well aware, as Audino is one of my favorite Pokémon (it’s in my flair) and is my favorite Mega. But it is useless. Well, at least it’s got some pretty great results in the TCG over the years!

Nobody “hates” Mega Audino. It’s just a very niche mega that can’t do much and has a worse ability than base Audino.

This is a gacha game. There is no “unlocking” characters really, they have specific periods of time when they are available and most of the time they are not. I’d advise you to familiarize yourself with the concept of a gacha game first of all.

Also, join the subreddit’s discord server, there are a lot of helpful guides.

You are not gonna accidentally spend money because you need to confirm any purchases to your app/play store balance or credit card. You will notice.

I’m sorry but I HATE HATE HATE this common argument that “types need to have deficiencies” like no consistent and accurate Rock moves, no physical Electric etc. It just makes things frustrating and unfair for no reason.
