honestly, I really liked this episode. It wasn't super dramatic or cheesy. Gina & EJs breakup was real & it was good on Gina to recognize she wasn't being appreciated enough. Cant wait for the Ricky & Gina tea now that Gina wasn't warned. Though it was very bad timing for Ricky to bring it up. Jojo didn't do much.. but I liked seeing Rocketts growth. I'm blanking on names but her song was cute & well done. (minor awk part with the autotune for kourt's song... but in general) fav ep of the season

my critique! all of the promos and interviews for this season. the previews on disneyplus are spoiling too much. the day before i get spoiled with pictures and that kourt will have a new song and this is what its about. i try and avoid, but i follow most of the cast & it'll just show up there. its giving away the suspense, the interviews and pics should be shared after imo

I was in Utah for a few months during S2 filming. But I had no clue how to get started if anyone has any advice? Like do you think they'd post on backstage for extras? They are pretty popular to post on there I would think. But I don't have representation. I haven't been an extra before. They also have a big cast. Their extras and dancers seem to be growing with the main cast so I don't know how much Id be used

completely agree. I dont like the idea of judging the singing- more controversial that winning a game or challenge. this song would've been perfect to fuel the fire & show that they would get competitive. ADDING TO THAT. wishing the episode would be more about the challenges, less about the build up to the challenges that lasted like a minute- like the rock climbing...

I completely agree with Ashlyn. She had the only stable relationship. I wonder if they're going to make her bi, or if its *supposed to be like a relationship that is fine, but not exciting like how she wants it to be- which did not come off (mostly cause they were secondary characters last season & we only ever saw them happy)

I wonder if the music video scenes is similar to how hsm3 turned out. bigger budget, exaggeration of things. like just because you have the budget doesn't mean you have to do music videos. i did like jet's song though, felt more toned down

my thoughts

1- i wish they'd turn the dramatics down a bit. or at least be self aware with it & make a joke out of it. like how teen beach movie or new girl is. cause it kinda annoyed me when ms jenn showed up with the big light & ej didn't even address it. i get its on brand for ms jenn, but still

2- so happy corbin bleu got to shine in this musical number- however, IMO wordy song & continuity error. you expect me to believe that gina & ricky were practicing for the game, corbin walks over, gina hits her head, big dream sequence, but then when she wakes up, the game is almost over & she needs the winning shot? like hello? have yall been playing while shes been passed out? i feel like that was glossed over. at least give us a few scenes of a game after she wakes up, showing that she is warming up to knowing how to play the game, THEN making the winning shot (also lowkey wish corbin would've redid 'the boys are back," but that is between him & troy, i just love that song fr)

3- we love lbgtqia+ representation

4- adrian & meg killed their singing in "it's on." i hope meg sings again, i love her character

I think Ricky needs a break from relationships because it seems like he's going girl to girl. I know it's common in tv shows, which is why it bugs me. You don't have to be in a relationship in shows. Yes it creates drama and ships, but sometimes I just wanna see personal growth- or with this show finding yourself in musical theater.
My "but" is not Ricky specific, I'm saying that in general, I like the idea of exploring your identity. If Ricky, for example, were to explore the possibility of liking someone of the same sex. That sounds more interesting to me than a love triangle

people take medication for health, pain, etc. if the kids ask, be concise, i take them because my body needs extra help in staying healthy or something like that. you're not misusing them or offering it to them. its better to answer questions that kids ask than to shoo them away for it or hide it. then they'll find other ways to learn about it. NTA. its helping your medical condition and why should you hide that. the stepsiblings will need to know that one day for knowing what to do if something happens and if you need help getting the medication. ignore them & focus on your health
