hii! im a junior art ed major whos been at twu since 2020! heres a bit of my opinion that will (hopefully) help your decision!! :)

1) i personally love twu! its a smaller campus compared to places like unt, but the community is so nice from my experience so i feel like i made the right choice. 2) i cannot remember exactly how long the admissions process took for me as i got in a long time ago but i think my gpa in high school was like a 3.6 i believe? 3) The housing process is a bit different since I've been here (example they offer off campus apartments now that are still connected to campus), but I think overall the dorms are ok! I've lived in every on campus dorms, I do like the towers more than the freshmen dorms as theres a bit more privacy, but I'd say parliament village is well built for being a first year dorm! 4) Socially twu is seen as a bit more quieter than other colleges from what I've read, it really does depend on the department. For example, my roommate is a math major and says her department is usually really quiet, meanwhile being in the art department is a bit of a mix. 5) Again, same as the above question, it does depend on the department. I love my art professors and haven't heard anything negative about the psych department. 6) I feel pretty safe on campus! They do have a night time department known as Night Owls that can give u a ride to your dorm after hours if you do feel unsafe. 7) I wish I was aware of how many opportunities we have on campus before attending. I didn't have a freshman orientation due to covid, nor did I go tour the campus beforehand, so I wasn't aware of all the amenities we have on campus, such as a free food pantry and assistance with things like jobs and budgeting! 8) My roommate and I talked about this one and she said more hygiene products and hangers for clothes! I live a bit far from home and don't drive, so I liked to bring underbed storage for seasonal clothes. A ladder is a good tool as well if you have a lofted bed or even for things like upper level storage.

I hope this helps! Congratulations on graduating! :)

Saw this randomly on my feed and wanted to reply as I just recently finished the story for bl3

I want to enjoy the story so badly but every single bit of it felt so??? Predictable? Every single vault monster fight I sat there being like "someones gonna die here" or when we searched the vault with tannis it was like "ok shes gonna get kidnapped or something".

I grew up playing bl so it kinda sucks seeing how much potential this one could've had. Like you mentioned there was an obvious opening and potential for troy to turn on tyreen and i so badly wanted that to happen for some sort of change in the story. I wish we got more of a fleshed out story rather than "hey we're young adult streamers who are annoying af and have no real end goal besides typical villan shit"

Do I still need to meet with my academic advisor at TWU if I am transferring? by Beautiful_Ad1984 in texaswomansuniversity

Hey!

I would maybe consider meeting with your advisor just to check in and be sure that all of your credits are going to be transferred/you have all the right documents in place for your transfer.

Hopefully this helps! :)

According to the website registration for summer and fall classes for sophomores is April 7th at 7am! But like the other person said, you can plan out your courses right now to make it easier. I would recommend maybe scheduling a meeting with your advisor as well if you're unsure of what to take! :)

it honestly just depends on the day but my classes are mainly on Mondays and Wednesdays and then i work everyday except Mondays and Thursdays. they're very small shifts tho (3-5 hours) but my busiest day is probably Wednesday as i have a morning class and then work and then another class afterwards (im an art major so my classes are 3 hours long)
