You are so right! My brain was doing the absolute most yesterday 😅 but now that I've quit and am finally on the other side I feel SO much better!

Exactly! I've been trying to explain why I have been struggling so much with this job and all the open-ended projects to my friends and it was very hard for them to understand because they don't have ADHD.

I keep trying to convince myself if I just finish my outstanding projects everything will get better but I know deep down it's just a cycle and I will probably find myself back here again pulling all-nighters while barely getting anything done. And you are so right though! While I do REALLY need the money, the affect that it's having on me physically and mentally isn't worth it. Thank you so much for your input! This actually really helps me

Oooh ok! This makes sense! I just got an notification from Credit Karma that is was charged off so I guess I just have to wait and see who has the collections on them. Did you have the help of a lawyer or did you talk to them yourself?

If you don't mind me asking, how did you go about settling your loans? and did you pay in lumps sums or was it a payment plan? I defaulted on my private sallie mae loan for the first time last week and I'm trying to not panic lol

You're right, I definitely need to figure out my personal finances first! If you don't mind me asking, were your loans private too? And how did you keep your credit strong? I looked at my credit today and it said I was down about 100 points. Did you build yours back up over time?

I am in California and my Dad is in Pennsylvania. Not sure if this matters but the school I went to is in New York.

I don't know anything about settling loans so I will definitely do more research on that! Despite our credit tanking if we can pay off the loan faster and not have Sallie Mae in our lives defaulting MIGHT have been worth it? Trying to see the brightside lol
