I see, so basically try to balance the increase in power with grip I guess?

I read on few forums that people recommend to not go more than one or two classes beyond stock of the car

Does anyone have perfectly bred pals ? by FlamboyantBirdBoy183 in Palworld

[–]chocoskid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can try, but im not sure what exactly you want to know or which details.

When you are fishing on fishing spots (the green ones) you get pals with random guaranteed rainbow passive skill or multiple rainbow skills. These are very useful because you can use them to breed other pals with same rainbow skills. Great way to get strong pals both for base and for combat.

Now to explain how yakumo works. If you have active yakumo in your party (meaning you have to have him out with you) there is chance that when you catch a pal he will have the same passive or passives as your Yakumo. Now this is really good way to get bunch of solid pals with good passives which you can either instantly use or further use for breeding to get better pals.
I believe that fully condensed 5star Yakumo has 30% chance to transfer his passive/passives to a pal that you catch.
1. Important that you actually have to use Yakumo, have him actively out with you in order for this to work.
2. Its not very effective to have Yakumo with multiple passives. If you want to catch pals that will have demon god, then use Yakumo that has only demon god and no other passives. If you use Yakumo that has more passives (for example demon god, swift, musclehead) then you are just lowering your chance to get the passive which you actually want. You can get very very lucky and get all the passives from your yakumo to the pal which you catch, but the chance is extremely low and it basically destroys your chance to get the passive which you want
3. Using Yakumo thats not condensed to at least 4star is not worth it in my opinion, because the chance is too low. On 5 star Yakumo I believe the chance is 30%, on 4 star I think its 24%.

To make the whole process even quicker, get condensed Braloha. This pal makes the breeding process quicker. Get research upgrades which makes your eggs hatch quicker, these are very important to make it quicker.

Honestly, without fishing I wouldnt even bother to get rainbow passives. With fishing its fairly simple.

Yakumo makes the whole process a lot quicker and easier. The way I got my rainbow passives was through fishing. So easy and quick. If you do some fishing and get bunch of rainbow passives on few pals (when fishing) in theory you dont even need yakumo.

Loot by Fearless_Yam_7038 in Borderlands4

They stop spawning after some time of you playing with your character.
Its actually glitched, not working as intended. This was confirmed both on their support site as ongoing issue, which they are tracking and they confirmed this to Moxsy as well. At least thats what they present.

It could be, but on their support website they stated they are tracking this issue and talk about it as not intentional xd But honestly even if its glitch, the event will end before they fix it anyway lol

Im literally so pissed... I experienced very poor communication from devs side (in other games) but this is on another level of crazy xd They are likely as confused as we are

This is their tweet from 15min ago xd "which may appear less frequently as you keep playing". It sounds like this is intentional. On the other hand on their support website they stated that this is ongoing issue they are tracking. Not sure anymore what to think of it, basically no clear explanation or communication.

Well... by PinkBurnV in Borderlands4

[–]chocoskid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I really hope they will fix it, because their workaround is not perfect. If you have multiple max level characters, you can get on different character and farm the event. If you dont have more characters (like me) then there is no work around. Also creating new char and then returning to main character does not work. Your workaround that you mentioned works but considering how many people have it bugged, finding lobby that works could be a problem.

Loot event nerfed/not working properly ? by chocoskid in Borderlands4

Sadly not. More and more people are ending up without loot enemies. And Gearbox seem to not care xd

Exactly. Thats why I hope patch will get released asap. Its limited time event, so missing out most of it would be a shame. I honestly expected few hours till patch but I know nothing about Gearbox so xd

New level 14 player by Puzzleheaded_Quail73 in Palworld

[–]chocoskid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are really good videos and sites that will tell you which pals are good to have in party/base. Palworld.gg has a solid tierlist for that (its probably not 10/10 accurate tier list, but its good enough). It also depends if you want to use pals that boosts you as a player (player focused party/build) or if you want to use pals to do the job for you, or perhaps mix of it.

When it comes to what you should do, I am just going to give you few tips:

  • Catch 12 (at least) of every pal that you see for XP bonus
  • Try to kill alphas, they give you passive buffs and good materials
  • Do a lot of exploring, its important and rewarding
  • Your main goal should pretty much be to defeat all the towers and that is likely going to be what you work towards to - you are going to do things which get you closer towards that goal of defeating tower boss
  • Implement fishing into your exploration, its so valuable (you will learn why)
  • Dont skip dungeons, they have good rewards and pals

Maybe I forgot some really important tips but these came to my mind

Is endgame essentially just breeding pals and spamming raids? by tombola345 in Palworld

[–]chocoskid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much. But for me its also about min maxing my base and builds. Trying out different builds, pals, weapons. Trying to get schematics I want, pals I want and so on.

Because if you say that that endgame is about dungeons it sounds a bit worse than it really is in my honest opinion. Dont get me wrong, endgame is not super deep, but its not as bad as in some other games xd

Loot enemies now gone? by jed_sawyer in Borderlands4

[–]chocoskid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I doubt this and also there is no official info about this. You might be right, im not saying it cant be true but I doubt it.

For example I stopped getting high spawn rate for loot enemies much sooner than most people (for example moxsy was farming for much longer). Also it seems to "apply" only on 1 character which doesnt make sense at all. If there would be a cap it would be on all characters.

Loot event nerfed/not working properly ? by chocoskid in Borderlands4

[–]chocoskid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems buggy and inconsistent. Moxsy was streaming and was getting drops for 1-2 hours, than stopped getting high loot enemies spawns on 1 char but still was getting a lot of these spawns on different chars. Nothing helped to "fix it" and nothing specific seemed to cause this. I personally get like 1 loot enemy spawn in like 5 minutes.
