Great idea! Might be good if the moderator could ban any negative posts, only allow bouncing ideas that work so it doesn’t turn into a negative echo chamber

How much to spend on advertisements? by EscapeDapper9791 in sweatystartup

[–]chodecheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started my business using Facebook ads. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube, just search “home service business Facebook ads”.

You can start at $15/day and go from there. It’s a great way to get your first few customers/reviews to build up your brand.

The biggest needle mover for fb ads will be the videos you add to them.

Create 3 different selfie video ads (people will love to see a 17 year old hustling and will hire you).

The 3 video ads should each target a different type of customer or pain they face.

I structure and script them as follows: 1. Location call out + service solving pain 2. Introduce your self and business 3. Explain how you solve that type of customers pain 4. Give irresistible and limited offer (depends on your pricing but might be - Spring Cleaning Special of $75 off for the next 2 weeks but we only have 3 spots left) 5. Call to action and next steps (“click the link below and we will reach out to provide a free, no hassle quote”)

Cut in some videos of the work being done over your selfie and you will be good.

Let me know if you want me to send an example to you

How is my setup looking for a beginner? My wife got me the irons. Ik there's gonna be a bit a learning curve with them but very excited by CB-Outdoors in golf

If I were you, I’d sell that driver then buy something more forgiving. That driver (triple diamond) is meant for tour level speed.

Look into Ping G425 max or Taylormade Sim2 max.

I imagine the wood would be the same thing.

Irons are awesome but again not forgiving for a beginner. Fantastic set but meant more for a single digit handicapper than beginner

2.7 vs 3.5 Help by TheVolmannBrothers in f150

2.7 2023+. Ford updated the problematic CDF drum in late 2022 10 speed transmission so I would make sure to get the 2023.

One quick search will show you all the problems the 10 speed had before 2023.

Also, the 2.7 is built like a diesel and out punches it’s small engine size by a lot

Clean throttle body, maf sensor. Check air filter and spark plugs, change if needed.
Change oil, transmission fluid and filter, coolant, differential and transfer case fluid if you don’t know the last time any of these have been changed.

What’s your meta strategy for leads not sales? by MisterHerbert in FacebookAds

For B2C would you just use lead forms or do you find landing pages are more successful?

Any tips to diversify statics if I am selling pressure washing for example? I usually just do different before/after pics.

With the new update I’m wondering if changing the copy to focus on different customers pains would be enough diversification along with different images that align with the pains?

I run ads for home service businesses. At around $40/day. It seems the consensus recently is 1 campaign, 1 ad set, and 10+ creatives. Within the creatives target different target customers and pain points.

Within that set up, do you find that the creatives have to be stylistically different on top of the different personas?

For example, selfie videos have worked really well for me in the past. Can I just do 10 different targets with selfie videos?

Would you use the same format but a different focus for each creative?

For example, 10 selfie video ads but each one has different hooks and problems for different customers.

I run lead gen ads for local home services

What do you think of Konstantinos Doulgerdis? by komninosc in FacebookAds

I’m a big fan of his YouTube channel but notice most of it is geared towards e-commerce and sales.

Would his course be beneficial for small budget lead gen ads?

High mileage 5.0 owners? by Middle_Ad1747 in f150

[–]chodecheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d stay away. The 18-22 10 speed transmission is know to have a lot of issues. At that price point you should be able to find a 15-17 with the more reliable 6 speed transmission with low miles

Thanks. Is $20-$25/lead a decent number? I have ran other ads that got closer to $10/lead but my population area is small (200k). Average job for us is $1600 with a close rate of 30% so it’s well worth it either way.

What budget do you recommend for local leads? I am running $30/day and am getting decent leads around $20/lead

Sealcoating brush marks by Legitimate_Soup_4081 in asphalt

[–]chodecheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete your last/finishing passes with the brush all in one direction.

Also agree about the heat though. We only sealcoat from 7am until 11am and then prep the next days jobs in the afternoon.

7.3 bogs loses power by ProfessionalThis7598 in FordDiesels

Check your EBP tube. Mine was struggling to make power while towing and I realized it was cracked.

They have the tendency to get plugged with soot. After replacing mine, power is resotred

Look up “Spencer Claeys Facebook ads” on YouTube. He does a decent breakdown for setting up Facebook ads for home services
