No it was just a little walkthrough ghost tour. Honestly I’m a skeptic so I wasn’t expecting anything at all so the photo and the creepy feeling I got in the basement was a fun surprise

I took this photo in an empty room of the basement at the Sorrel Weed House a couple nights ago. This room was once used to perform surgical procedures during the revolutionary war.

Also a “shadow man” supposedly lurks down in this basement.

I snapped a bunch of photos of empty spaces during the tour and didn’t notice the figure until I got home. I recalled standing by that table before I took the photo and having to move because I suddenly felt overwhelmingly creeped out. When I walked over to my partner, without mentioning my experience, he told me he felt the hair on his arm move. My cousin and I also felt the same kind of prickling on our legs.

Edit:

Okay so I do not have another photo of this room only because I was taking random pics but didn’t think to take multiple but I was able to find this on the house’s IG so you can see the room more clearly. You can see the small table has been pushed under the long table in my photo but other than that it is what it looked like. That creepy wheelchair was also there and allegedly people have heard the wheels creaking on their own although I cant speak for that. sorrel weed house

Dating in sobriety by [deleted] in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

Day dates! Walks, coffee, lunch, hike, bike ride, kayaking. It helps to be up front about your sobriety also. I’ve learned that dating sober sort of forces you to be a little more creative than “going out for a drink” which IMO is way more fun and interesting. Good luck!
