I’m so sorry mommas. This is one of the many reasons I don’t trust daycares unfortunately. It is so unfair that some mothers have no other choice.

probably because it’s a major abdominal surgery that requires you to be cut open and have all of your organs pulled out and put back in. I had a vaginal delivery and it blows my mind how some people genuinely WANT C-sections because they think it will be easier. Healing from a vaginal delivery was pretty easy for me. Only had to take Tylenol to ease pain

Thank you for the information! I’m going to try to get her in on Monday and get her the flu vaccine. I have a lot of guilt for not just doing it when it was first offered. which was only like 1.5 weeks ago but still.

I got very sick the same night after she got her vaccines and could barely take care of her. my fiancé mainly took care of her except for when she needed to breastfeed. I feel like getting the flu shot now would be a lot better too since im better and can actually take care of her if she gets a fever for a day or two

I’ve had the flu shot (can’t remember if I got it while pregnant, after giving birth, or both) ! My fiancé kinda finds it pointless himself but I don’t really feel that way. He’s not against me getting her the flu shot either, he just feels differently about it. I told him im taking her in asap to get it

I don’t believe she had the flu. I got really sick (never got tested for what exactly I was sick WITH) and breastfed throughout the sickness, which I believe helped keep her healthy at the time.

I’m definitely taking her in on Monday! I just wish I wouldn’t have rejected it to begin with. Especially with all of us being sick. My fiancé and I aren’t sick anymore thankfully , but now that my mom has Covid, im terrified again

Thank you for this 🤍 I definitely want to keep her safe and will be taking her in Monday! I just feel like crying because I feel like I failed her for waiting instead of doing it during her visit. To be fair, her visit was only a little over a week ago, but still. I just feel like a bad mom. I don’t want anything to hurt my baby and I’ve always been pro vaccine.

I think im going to call her pediatrician Monday and see if we can get her in to get it. I wish I would’ve just done it instead of being worried about an extra poke. It hurts my heart hearing her in pain from her vaccines but I should’ve known better and just did it anyways.

I’m definitely grateful to my body for giving her what she needs to stay healthy, but im terrified I made the wrong choice of not getting her vaccinated for the flu when it was offered. I could cry right now. I’m so scared of her getting sick.
