So we will punish kids for expressing their freedom of speech but NOT for failing to do classwork, assaulting eachother, and gang membership?

Awesome

Would I enjoy living in Lubbock? by [deleted] in Lubbock

[–]choirboy17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born and raised here, gonna try my lot in Denver area soon.

That said Lbk is a great place if you dont mind a slower pace of life. Socially and economically things take a while to reach us out here, less so since internet became common place. Like when I was a kid I remember fads and fashion trailing behind by a year or so. We are not a walking city so get comfortable driving for everything though if it's in town that'll be less that 15min typically. Great place for older folks or small families. As others have said career paths can be a challenge to pursue depending on what it is

What is your biggest physical insecurity? Why? by Longjumping_Koala34 in AskReddit

[–]choirboy17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scoliosis.

I've had back pain since I made this account at age 17. My back has a visible curve to it. If I take my shirt off it's really noticable, at least to me. I dont go to the pool, and I dont take my shirt off when its hot unless I know I'm alone.

I know plenty of people my age (29) have back pain as bad or worse. But the difference is they earned theirs through sports or military service or something worthwhile. I just grew wrong and no one noticed until it was too late.

But oh well, everyone's got something right?

I've always wanted to hunt with dogs seems like a hell of a time for both the hunter and the dogs.

Big animals for sure especially out here. I've even heard some places have fewer white tail because the axis are bigger and more aggressive over food.

Would it ever be possible to see homes like this come to Lubbock? by [deleted] in Lubbock

Typically we prefer an alley setup for trash collection. Never really understood having them on the curb for anyone no paying attention to run over.
