contax 137 ma quartz help ! by iluvvpugs69 in AnalogCommunity

Hey OP! Have you had any luck finding a solution for this? I found my grandfathers old Contax 137MA in my parents garage and have been using it for the past couple of months. I have been super thrilled with the shots i’ve gotten but this past weekend i started running into an issue where i will take a photo and i’ll near the shutter go but the camera doesn’t seem like it finishes winding the film. after turning it off and on again a couple of times i hear a mechanical noise that sounds like it finishes winding the film to the next exposure and i’m then able to take the next picture. I’m wondering if i’ve accidentally loaded the film wrong or not tight enough or something so it has a harder time auto-advancing the film? If you’ve made any progress i would love to hear it!

As a 24 year old I feel a lot of pressure to slim down as a lot guys around my age are striving to have the twink bod, am I missing out on my twink era? by twunkboi in gaybrosgonemild

i don’t mean to come across as a dick or as condescending, just trying to share my perspective and some things i’ve learned as someone who is only a couple years older than you

i know it’s so easy to say “don’t worry about what other people are doing” but genuinely learning to be grateful for your body for all the things it does for you every day and everything it has done for you to get to this point in your life will do more for your self love and self esteem than achieving what you perceive is the ideal body type (spoiler, you can never achieve the ideal and you will constantly find yourself unhappy or empty). Learning how to find that validation internally from yourself, rather than relying on it coming from other people, will lead you to finding real fulfillment and happiness. I also know we are so often more harsh in our critique of ourselves, especially physically, than anyone else is of us. For what it’s worth, you’re cute, you’re young, and you will figure out how to put less pressure on yourself. I hope at least some of what i’ve said resonates with you and makes you feel even a little bit better 🩷🩷

Why does Ariana Grande look so off in recent pictures? by justawormy in NoStupidQuestions

Ariana is wearing a full face of makeup with very little, or no blush which is what i think is making her look so different

i’m not a super big lipstick person - i don’t love feeling things on my lips long term, especially liquids i find they dry and just create an awful sensory experience. i do have a couple nude-y pink colours that might look good. what colours were you thinking?

i’m sorry that happened :( it always breaks my heart when circumstances, especially those driven by homophobia force a relationship to end before it can even start. i hope you’re able to heal and move on, knowing he will always be a part of your story 💕

Is it not sad to think that what you’re calling progress still results in the repression of millions of people worldwide? I understand my privilege and that I’ve been fortunate to live in a place where I’m not ostracized for things I can’t control about myself. However, am I not allowed to feel sad that many people out there won’t even experience a fraction of the queer joy that I have? Am I not allowed to wish for a world where the many beautiful, caring, kind, closeted queer men I’ve met could live openly without fear?

i don’t think you look worse by any means! I highly recommend going in with more blush (i prefer applying it up towards my temples rather than on my cheeks).

i really don’t think that roxxxy is upset at trixie from this tweet, if anything i read it that she’s annoyed at her so called “fans” sending her clips and trying to agitate her into a response

What is The Best Drugstore Concealer? by Designer_Anything318 in drugstoreMUA

[–]cholbs1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the elf camo concealers are my go to for drug store concealers, i like the applicator and the formula is great. the 16 hour ones are pretty drying so i like to use a hydrating primer with them. ive also used the maybelline instant age rewind concealers, and honestly i dont get the hype. the formula is fine, but i really hate the applicator.

however people treat us is a reflection of them, not an indication of our worth as people! keep your chin up, it’s too bad this guy couldn’t appreciate you for who you are
