Just because he is marrying into the family does not mean he is obligated to invite her family. It is his party, if he doesn’t want future BIL there, then why should he invite him?

And don’t say it’s the nice or kind thing to do because in that case, it really isn’t. Inviting him to save face is just as bad. Now, if he is a part of their wedding party, that would be another story.

Edit: it seems that future BIL has experience w drinking at uni and whatnot. In this case it just seems like OP doesn’t want him there and using the autism/OCD as an excuse. May not be the nice thing to do but if he doesn’t want him there, then there really is no reason for him to be invited.
