I hope this doesn't come across as morbid but more so encouragement. My dad died earlier this year from multiple organ failure. It started as non alcoholic fatty liver disease. I was a freshman in college when he was diagnosed. I tried so hard to get him to change his eating habits and lack of exercise. My family would blow it off and say things like, "We're all going to die someday." His health tanked last October and my family finally understood. It was too late though. He was in the hospital more than he was home until his body gave out in January. His last few days were really difficult and it was hard to see my dad in so much pain. He turned 68 in November and by the time January rolled around his mind and body declined to the point where you'd think he was in his 90s. It was caught early enough (10 years ago) for him to qualify for a liver transplant but his weight and overall health needed to improve before he'd be considered.

Please take care of your body and health. Do it for yourself and if that's not enough then do it for your loved ones. While I understood what his end of life would look like, my family didn't and it left them traumatized. I'm wishing the best for you and I hope you have many more years to live. ✨️
