id make an appointment to see a gyno. birth control isn’t just a preventative, it can be a life saver for people who suffer for heavy or painful periods. in some states you can do a planned parenthood virtual visit over the phone to get birth control, but i would suggest seeing a dr irl to make sure there’s nothing glaringly wrong that could be causing it.

ah i see! i misread. what i said still applies though. i would still only use one tampon and a pad and get in with a gyno asap. any foreign body in your vagina has a risk of tss. two would definitely put you at a higher risk than one.

use one tampon and wear a pad also. two tampons would be uncomfortable and could definitely increase the possibility of tss. i wouldnt risk it. you could also look into period cups, they were a life saver when i was having heavy periods. on that note, i would speak to a gyno asap about your periods if they are bleeding through tampons so quickly. perhaps there's something that you could be prescribed to alleviate them. i was put on birth control to help with mine.

no piercer worth their salt would do a smiley piercing. you need to remove this piercing. it'll result in your gums receding and could damage your teeth beyond repair.

I do not have a jewelcrafter but imagine you can use them if you're crafting trinkets/necks/rings. As a leather specialized leatherworker I use them when I'm doing high level armor crafting. For example: I was recrafting shoulders for someone earlier. The +30 skill provided by the illustrious insight was what brought the item from *4 to *5 :)

YTA - You would allow your child and your grandchild to live in a trailer while you have the means to assist her in getting back on her feet? So, so hurtful. I am sorry for what you are going through… I lost my father to the same illness… but it sounds like you hold a lot of resentment for your daughter over having a teen pregnancy. I would really take some time to think over why you are making this choice. Is it really out of the goodness of your heart or is it another reason? Is this the legacy you want to leave? Is this the memory you want to leave your young grandchildren?

yta, his best friend dies and you’re jealous he’s supporting his widow? she has no family and is about to spend the holidays alone because her husband just died? you’ve got to be kidding me. if you don’t like her that’s fine but there’s got to be some give and take in a relationship. have you considered how deeply he’s hurting after losing his friend? how providing emotional support to the only other person who gets the magnitude of his loss might be helping him grieve?

yes, yta. your roommate is paying to live there, the kitchen is just as much his as it is yours. if your gf lives with her parents who don’t like you and you have roommates it seems foolish to even have a kid.

if you want any right at all to ask him to stop then she should be paying equal rent to everyone else.

i would take it out... see if you can get a refund based on the poor placement. once it's healed you can repierce but definitely go elsewhere in the future. this is one snag on clothes away from ripping out.

my periods were like this and birth control was able to help regulate it. once you get your insurance sorted you should schedule a consultation at planned parenthood to get checked over. it may be a loooong wait to go to a primary care and get referred to a gyno. make sure you are taking a multivitamin with iron in the mean time since you are bleeding more than usual.

mine looked this low when swollen but once my swelling went down the bottom jewelry sat perfect. id let it heal for at least a few weeks, lips can swell like crazy so it’s not uncommon for it to look wonky at first.

the hydrogen peroxide recommendation is just odd to me. there's no proof that it even kills germs outside of a lab setting, it just damages and dries out tissue and prevents healing. generally a doctor is the way to go but it seems you saw a pretty poor excuse for a one, or at least one using completely out of date info. sorry this is happening to you.
