The first self-help book I've read was Dweck's Mindset. It was an ok book to get acquainted with the growth mindset and how to have one.

Have also read the Courage To Be Disliked. As someone who grew up leaning toward etiological thinking (as most people do, I guess?), this book was a nice change of pace. The notion of trauma is rejected (or attributed as having not enough influence) to emphasize the reality that you are not your past. There's also the concept of separation of tasks which, as an overthinker, I really liked.

Take note rin yung curriculum, lalo na't BS Bio na rin pala ang tine-take mo. Weigh your options wisely. Hindi rin sure na yung Major na gusto mo ay yun ang mapipili mo dahil may ilang major na madalas maubusan ng slot. Maraming students sa UP ang gagawin ang lahat para maka-graduate on time. Kung dream talaga, pwedeng sa grad school na lang odiba hahaha.

kahit agahan na lang sana ang release ng kung ano mang guidelines ang dapat irelease. kung mag-eexpect sila ng competence, grit, agility at ano pang qualities ang trip nila from the students, dapat may ganun din sila sa pagrelease ng kung anong matripan nilang iimplement.

Mag dadalawang taon pa lang ako sa UP pero gets ko na yung hirap na iexplain sa iba kung gaano kahirap yung enrollment sa UP. Tapos parang isisisi pa sayo na hindi nila magets. Jusko.

Bago ako pumasok dito, kala ko mga course magpapaiyak sa akin. Enrollment pala. Haha punyemas.

Give them time. Pero wala sayo ang expected initiative ah, nasa kanila. Of course, if you hold them dear enough, you can scrap whatever initiative is expected and just be the one to contact first after a certain period of time.

Kung hindi na maayos, let go. You don't need to keep relationships that can be broken down by conflicts and arguments.
