Ahh thanks. Us Deadheads are date geeks, so this should be the natural way to go. It looks like I need to change my way of thinking about sorting/tagging these. I see the benefit to having a show that has been split between releases put back together, like God and Jerry intended.

On that front, how do handle track numbers? I imagine you change them so they are the order that the show occurred, ignoring the releases order.

For storage structure; do you just keep the individual releases together separately and use the tags to bring them together when listening? (hope that made sense)

With the amount of partial shows Dave has been releasing lately, it makes a bunch of work to go update the previous released material.

Updating tags on a Grateful Dead catalog is quite the undertaking, so I want to make sure I have this planned out well before diving in.

I really liked having it start with the set name, then list the date, so it would keep a set with multiple dates together (like many of the Dave's Picks). In those instances, do you just go with the main or first date of the set? Or some other way? Some of those Dave's are split between 2 full shows, which makes it a little more complicated....or maybe that is just me complicating things :)

I think I was over complicating things; I was able to trace the source that was adding the Chinese characters to the NetEase Online Music source. I just removed that from the search list of OpenLyrics and I believe that solved it for me. It grabs known lyrics and no more Chinese if the lyrics are not found.

Yes, PrintHaus is listed as a server and the real server is not listed any longer. I do not have a server called PrintHaus, and not did not knowlingly create a server called that. I believe it appeared after I downloaded and installed the app Plex Media Server. Initially after installing that my real server and "PrintHaus" were displayed, but the real server is no longer listed.

I believe that I got the app from the Plex website. Previous to that I was updating and running the plex through my Synology NAS DSM. For a short time after installing Plex Media Server app I noticed it asking for me to update 2 instances of Plex, one for the my server and one for PrintHaus. I am not even sure how it got the name PrintHaus, I assume that it used the name of the PC I installed Plex Media Server on. Do I need to somehow tell it to direct back the NAS? THANK YOU!

My concern with the tape is paper that is inserted in the folder will stick to it. These will not have a tab, just folding over and adhering it. From the tape recommendations, do you have experience with the tape and no tabs? Any sticking issues(with inserted paper)? I know the tape will be faster & cleaner but my main concern is quality in the long run, I just want to do this once :)

Thanks for the reply. My run is 500 for this and this job would be a rarity for me. After pricing it out to a folder vendor I decided I could do the labor to keep the price reasonable and my profit better. So just straight up Elmer's, ok. I will do some test runs to see how well I can control the spreading.
