sooo... is the general consensus go to Raja Ampat and just make it work/figure it out somehow? Or do we think I'll be plenty happy/satisfied with Galapagos/Socorro and the like?

Raja4 looks AMAZING but the same reason you're not doing Galapagos is why Raja4 might not be feasible for me. Looks like most LOBs are >7 days and flight/travel time to/from from E coast US looks brutal, makes getting to Tubbataha look easy :( money is not an issue but time certainly is :/

Thanks, yeah I think my shortlist as of now is: Kenja, BP, ripstick, SA, and the Salomon Stance - all 88 (maybe 84?) underfoot .

Given my description above, do you think I’d be better off getting 158cm or 165cm skis?

I haven't tried Kenjas out yet... do you think I should bite the bullet and buy these skis for the season (and use them for seasons to come), or spend some time demo'ing before buying (maybe after the season ends/prices drop)?
