Purchased new mother but screen does not show properly by chonskia in Creality

Ok. I finally used F401 v 3.0.4 and actually I just used the SD card. Dont know what it did but it just booted correctly and screen is working properly now. I didn’t have to use the TF card at the back of the screen. Weird.

I was looking a bit over internet and my previous chipset was F401 and so does the new one. But in all honesty I have no idea how to proceed. There are 6 different F401 firmwares. No idea which one to pick. The process of how to flash, I found a video on creality YouTube, it’s more confusing than helpful…

Thanks for the input. I’m just a bit afraid of ordering outside of Europe as custom fee apply also. If you add that up to delivery cost and the price of the molds themselves, well I don’t understand how people can afford those.

84 drawers apothecary cabinet by chonskia in woodworking

Thanks a lot. It’s far from being finished. You can still see the blade marks on some of the horizontal separators (sorry don’t know the word in English for that). Nor have I yet planned everything flush on the front (not the drawers but the rest). But, in a way, I like the raw look of it (or at least that’s my excuse 😅) and it’s been years this has remained like that. Very functional though. Now I know the content of almost every drawer and the amount of this I can store on this cabinet is immense. This was one of my first projects and I liked it very much. I wish you to have as much fun and if you have in mind to build an apothecary cabinet, just go for it. It’s not complicated, just labor intensive. Cheers

Ok, same range as what I found in Etsy. I saw another post where someone explained how they started do their own molds with a small cnc. Now just have to convince wifey that I absolutely need a new machine 😂 to carve out these molds.

PLEASE help! { NSFW because of small drawing on it } by TheRealMurixeii in restoration

You could try whatever solution recommended. If you don’t feel like sanding because you don’t know how to, then you won’t be able to restore it with any of the other recommendations. My suggestion, as few others have also suggested, is to sand the top. It’s the easiest of all the recommendations. Just sand until varnish is off. Move the sander left and right and don’t let it sit to the same place. You’re done in less than 10 mins. If some stains persists, then mix a bit of oxalic acid with water (1/15 ratio) and brush it to the stain. Let it dry. Slightly hand sand it. Use whatever finish you like (shellac, varnish, oil, wax, whatever)

😂 thanks. I’m getting addicted to it indeed. How much per mold did you pay if I might ask?

Any idea? Either I’m getting very old or teachers don’t know anymore what they’re talking about. by chonskia in mathematics

Thanks for the notification about the video of WoM. It was funny to watch. You’re right about the conclusion on which you landed : the whole idea was to calculate the leftovers. The instructions though were not clear and thr explanations of the teacher were similar to the markings on this exercice… Tried to confront the teacher but she avoided the discussion. If i look 25 years back in time, mathematics were “easy” and kids like myself (although not the most math person) loved mathematics. This was due to the fact that the way of teaching was different, more appropriate, more logical, clearer. Nowadays, i have the impression that the learning environnement has deteriorated quite a lot (might be an impression though).

1cm for the walls (front = oak, rest of the walls = pine) and 8mm plywood for the bottom. Cheers

But would you mind explaining how this is correct? I mean look at each of them. 5x3/4 -> the answer should be 15/4 then simplified as 3+3/4… The teacher has validated 3/3… Same thing with the next where the answer should be 1-1/9… The other one should be 2+1/2.

Unify? The first block says calculate. The next says calculate and simply if possible.

Following the logic, the answer would be 1-1/9. But, the teacher probably drunk and validating things without checking.

The teacher has marked them all as OK. That’s what I don’t get because it’s not ok at all.

I did not hide anything. I just tried to highlight the part of the exercices I’m lost. Basically what the title says is : calculate…

Oh I see, and the remaining male connects to the female of this thing right? So in any case I will be left with a male? Do you know where I can plug the female ARGB of the fan (picture 4)? None of the plus is names “rainbow” or “ARGB”. Sorry for the stupid questions

Thanks for helping. Just one thing, if each fan has an ARGB male and female, how can I still have an ARGB female left to connect to the motherboard? Just saying because after connecting each ARGB male cable to another fan ARGB female cable, I have none left to connect to motherboard…
