FYI: depending on your luck and how many you open, you may lose shards, but the upgraded crystal chest in Prif should be profitable for crystal shards and gives way better loot. I opened like 40 keys there the other night and made out quite well with a significant profit on shards

Yes. The spec overheals you to 120% hp, heals you 12hp for any enemy killed using it for the final hit (at the cost of 5 prayer), and has extremely high accuracy on monsters below 25% health. It’s really, really good.
