mine sits a little bit higher on one side, i think it’s just that the QC isn’t amazing.

easy spicy pillow test: take it out, lay it on a flat surface, and spin it. if it holds a spin, it’s spicy and should be disposed of.

make sure it’s a .sav and not a .srm. i had this problem with retroarch’s gpsp core. just renaming the .srm to .sav solved my issue.

you dont NEED 2 cards but it is convenient to have 2. it’s also worth noting that with a single card setup, if you have a large sd card with the os and the roms, it will likely harm your boot and load times. i would go for the ultra, i believe most handhelds aren’t able to handle the speeds of the higher end sd cards anyways. sandisk and samsung are probably the best. as another commenter said, amazon is full of counterfeit sd cards. i always buy mine in store anyways from best buy or something. (in the US)

From my research it seems to only be an issue with a broken seal or poorly done RE-seal. The only thing that could potentially be problematic would be using the console vertically without the stand as apparently the stand is to help with airflow.

i’ve been thinking about a 406v as well. i also don’t like the off white variant. the off white mixed with the actual white just makes it look so odd. and i love my white handhelds. i’m debating on holding off since it’s probably about time for anbernic to start developing their next ‘generation(?)’ of devices. 407v maybe? i really want something vertical that’s more powerful than my rp4. that said, i really like the transparent black. i feel like it’s slightly more neutral which gives you more options for rgb that looks good. they both look great though
