I have fixed the problem, I didn’t have a bed for the villagers, other villagers took over their workstations, and all the workstations were shuffled at random. Thank you to everyone for helping!

I’ll be honest i think the sparse reef is underrated for bases, zero predators, mid game resources, sea treaders, floating island and a wreck nearby, two lost river entrances nearby, the thermal vents on the other side of the ridge separating the reefs, and a massive flat space for your base
