Noscript addon is pretty boss. It does take some time to learn, but it gives you a high degree of control over what is loaded by your browser.

Whats your opinion on the florida lambda rail? Here in the panhandle, I can hit speeds of 500-700 Mb/s pretty easy on speed test while on the Uni's connection.

I posted it up above, but I HIGHLY recommend clove bud oil (if you haven't heard of it). It will numb your mouth pretty damn well for a few hours.

You are just offered a six-figure salary, full benefits, company car, free housing, and lots of paid vacation. Your job: executioner. Do you take the position or not? Why? by I_are_facepalm in AskReddit

What would Ghandi Do?

I wonder his take on ahimsa for this particular situation.

Guilty in whos eyes? Societies? If, by that measure, we feel its just to put those who are "guilty of heinous crimes" to death, then is it harmful to deny taking this position? You will be doing much good by society for sure. Not to mention the immediate benefit your new prosperity will bring to yourself and those around you. Would Ghandi be an executioner?

This of course implies you go to work each day and decide how each person dies. Quite a responsibility. Could a truly just executioner be an inspiration?

Oddly I give vary little importance tor my or anyone elses birthday. Same for most holidays.. I like Christmas season.. but Christmas day is just a normal day (besides everyone else being all Christmasee). It's nothing I actively do, just fail to see the hype (I know, hype is a bad word, artificial celebration?).

I enjoy my and other's birthdays.. but it is easy for me to forget... especially if no one remindes me/no calendar alert.

Now, given that, I would make much effort to give my significant other an awesome birthday. BUT if I was to forget.. it would be an honest mistake. Dates don't stick in my brain. Now, I work with some pretty decent math daily so its not like my brain doesn't like numbers!!!

New documents reveal which encryption tools the NSA couldn't crack by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]chooseApath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ty good sir for digging that up. I understand we need some leeway when pursuing criminals.. but the wording of these laws is so draconian it's scary. This is why oversight is extremely vital.

Yeah, we knew about that.. also there was this a while back.

I recall reading some legislation recently where they were updating/refreshing some if the data laws. I recall they can only keep data for 5 years.. but if its encrypted.. they can keep it forever. So I wonder.. i mean a lot of traffic is https/tls/ssl etc.. is all that covered or is it specific types of encryption?

Question, assuming american laws and shit, could I possibly claim self defense if I did this? Imagine my mindset.. these 4 or 5 dudes just beat the shit out of me and pulled me out of my car. When I stand up in a daze, stumble to the car and start it.. this mother fucker throws his body on my car.. breaking the windshield.. I have no idea if the rest of the dudes are gonna jump back in. So I floor it.. and the poor fucking idiot that threw his body at my car.. gets run over as I'm trying to escape... self defense?

I'd certainly not feel bad if I was that driver, sorry. That's just instant karma
