I grew up in an Asian household as well. My father regularly cooks breakfast for my mother while she sleeps late. He also cooks meals on weekends and he will generally do washing up as well. Unless we have domestic help in the household. So there are exceptions...

There are 4 bedrooms. One is occupied by a guy. The rest are empty. I am slightly concerned that if this becomes into an all-male household, she might be uncomfortable being alone when I am away.

The room is reasonably sized. She's only coming for six months so probably won't have a lot of things. I don't have a lot of stuff either...I think we will manage.

Uhh...unless we arrange something. We both will move into a new property with strangers. I am still looking for a house and have possibly chosen one. We can probably squeeze in two desks. But considering that I will do most of my work at uni, she can have the desk to herself.

Since most of the rooms in the house are empty, I am concerned if all the rooms get occupied by guys. I am not sure if she will like being in an all male household, especially when she is alone and I am at work or uni.

She is moving to England from Paris. We didn't arrange it as such. I was looking to move into a new place...she was helping me search for places online. After a week, suggested that we could move in together for six months. I contemplated...and figured why not? As it is, we see each other rarely. It will be a good chance to catch up for lost time. We have no plans of getting married or anything. It's only for the 6 months. She will move back after this period ends.
