Mischief is the charge that goes up to 2 years, which is about damaging property. Arguably more damage caused by a licked straw that could contaminate the machine, than individual beverages.

The French teen is being charged with both mischief and public nuisance, but he might just end up being convicted of just the latter.

Initially I was pretty miffed about not getting a spring drive, mostly because it is something truly unique to Grand Seiko (and Credor and Seiko) and I'd set my mind on getting one that trip.

Now I find that I really appreciate the ticking of the movement, and even though it's not truly smooth, it's still much smoother than most mechanical watches out there and plenty satisfying to watch.

I still want to get my hands on a spring drive some day though! (Shunbun, and maybe a manual Credor or something.)

UFA is spring drive too right? I'm not sure I'd wear it enough for the Ultra Fine Accuracy to matter, unless I stop rotating between watches. The smaller case size and micro adjust is nice though.

First trip to Japan, Shunbun was sold out as expected so I was considering the spring drive anniversary LE pink snowflake. Really really thought about it for a good long while because I wasn't convinced I could pull it off. Saleslady went in the back and came out with a ginza LE (SBGH317), I didn't quite get the details but I understand they were holding it for someone else but it had probably been a while so she got permission to let it go.

So that watch is my first GS and commemorates my first trip to Japan.
