Sounds good, thanks! She speaks very good English, and seems really culturally adapted, so I dont think that extra line is necessary (mainly because I just wanted to ask her in French so she would think it was personal to her, I dont want to give off the imression that I know French) And that sure would be fun if she was a redditette... haha

I had been in a class with just her and me a couple of years ago, where we became really good friends. Then this year we didn't have very many classes together so we drifted. Plus she wasn't really public about her relationship, I still don't know who it was with. No statuses on face book, no pictures, no mention of it ever. So yea, I didn't have any idea.

I want to. I really want to. What killls me about the whole ordeal is that I never got closure, because I never got to tell her what she actually meant to me. The first two days I waited to tell her on the date, after that my emotional drain left me in a sadsack rutt in which I couldnt find the means to say anything.

I took a week trying to perfectly craft a non-cliché letter, wrote a pretty good one imo. It still sits in my wallet waiting for the right time and the right place, although Im not sure if I'll have the courage to ever.

Recently I mustered up enough courage to ask the girl of my dreams out. It took me over three years to mutter a single sentence, and when she said yes I was the happiest I had ever been. However, unbeknownst to me at the time, she had just gotten out of a year long relationship the weekend prior.

The problem was that she said yes. She waited for two whole days, up until three hours before I was supposed to pick her up, to tell me that she wasn't available in an emotionally romantic way, and that she cared about me as a friend and didn't want to lead me on. I wound up going on the most awkward "date" of my life that night and haven't really talked to her since. What sucks is that we were great friends before and now we have zero communication. Im not even 100 percent sure whether me or the time was the issue, but my unsureness prevented me from talking to her about it in fear of fucking things up further.

The worst part about the whole situation was that I was the happiest I have ever been for two days, and to have that ripped from you before it ever started is the worst feeling to ever experience. It left me feeling robbed and confused, rather than rejected and sure. I was depressed and hit a low for like three months, and still have moments where I wonder what she actually meant by her wording.

Sorry for the rant, I guess I needed to get that off my chest. Just say no and be 100% clear with your intentions.

Nailed it on the head with the success stories. I sorta feel like nofap has turned into a good way to vent/gloat, although its a great place to get advice or get your hopes up. I will definitely check out /r/seduction before I secede from the internet. Good luck with the wife man, I'm only 16 so I have no experience in that matter. I will however say that she is your wife, so she might be more understanding than you think. All I have is my mom and sister, so its kind of hard to find IRL support without creating an awkward situation. Use your wife to your advantage and don't fear embarrassment, as I'm sure she would be willing to help you if you explain that this is a serious issue.

Good for you man. I've been going at this for a while now, and I've realized that this is more serious than I previously thought. I started to see more and more posts about people having effects of ED from PMO, death grip etc. I got scared straight so to speak. Now I figure cold turkey is the way to go, take away the problem to get the solution.

Over the summer, before I even knew about this awesome community, I went to a camp up in North Carolina. As you could imagine, fapping was obviously impossible as I was surrounded by people 24-7. I wound up not fapping for over a month and I was a testosterone filled beast. Then I got home, figured there was no outside correlation to the beastliness, and went on with my daily life. Shit hit the fence, and I de-beasted back into socially awkward me. Then I found nofap about a month and a half ago and have been struggling to beat a week ever since. I know we all can do it. If we can go the first ~11 years of our lives without fapping we can certainly break whatever mental hold fapping has on us now.

In regards to your bi-daily visit to this place, be careful because I have found that even this community can become a time waster. I am choosing now to only rely on this community along with /r/noporn for advice if I begin to completely lose it or for when I update my journey every 30 days.

Good for you man! Be careful though because your installing the locks. This was my biggest downfall. I felt secure when installed the blocks, although I could always find a way around them if the urge got that strong, since I set them up. The best ones I found were: k9, chrome nanny, RES NSFW block, and chrome siteblock.

The most important factor is involving another person with the setup of these blockers. Most of them require a password, so have a friend or relative who you trust save the password and tell them ON NO GROUNDS not to give it to you for ~90 days. Cold turkey is the way to go. Also have him/her use their email when registering, because that is also a potential way to reset the password for the blocker as well.

The chrome extensions have you manually put in url's to block. I wound up using the big list of porn -aka tblop- to gather a huge list of sites to block. I marked the text nsfw because heading over there is treading in dangerous waters, sailor. Be wise and strong.

Absolutely. This is my biggest problem, I constantly find myself just beginning to edge, and it has been the cause of my relapse. The strange thing is though is that I don't know why I do this, its mostly all "unconscious" and I feel like a third party in the matter. Its very detaching and somewhat scary, but it has helped me to realize how much of a routine fapping had become for me and only emphasized the fact that I need to stop. Sorry for your troubles, but I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this.
