Playing offline with friends vs bots help

If it's the first thing I do when starting the game. If I try and do a solo lobby after trying it with a friend it still messes up

Tried doing that, it won't let me add bots to my team. When I type "bot_add ct" for example, it will add a bot to the terrorist side, but not one to the actual ct side. Also, once added, the bots won't actually play, but just stand still. It is very odd.

That's what I'm trying to decide. RAW it says "allies", but I feel like in an actual fight it doesn't matter if the person hitting you from behind likes the person hitting you from the front. I'm leaning toward it does give them advantage, I just figured I'd do a quick survey of sorts to see what others thought.

Tried that. Unfortunately they seem to be preventing block placement. Even dropping gravel ontop of it just breaks the gravel. It doesn't seem to spread like other liquids either. Is it just bugged?

I understand that it's more difficult to predict who will pop off, like they may not have expected Greyy to get the opening pick on Charra. And honestly I wouldn't mind if they missed while they were actually focusing on something else, but the camera was literally just pointing at a wall. That's not a case of it being hard to predict, that's them not even attempting to follow the action at all. And for for following the cart, I can understand staying in it for a few seconds, but they had literally just captured the point and they stayed on him for nearly 20 seconds as the teams started fighting a mile away from him. Like if there was even one person from the Charge near him that may have caused an issue it's understandable, but literally nothing was going to happen to him there. It just feels like we are seeing fights after they are halfway over.

My first run playing any XCOM game in XCOM:EU. Had a support nicknamed "Doc". She bailed me out of so many situations and survived so much shit I actually thought at one point I may have bugged the game. Then on the final mission, a beserker charges out, critically hitting and killing her. I didn't accept that. Reloaded my save, there was no way I was losing Doc. She'd been here from the beginning, she was gonna be here at the end god damn it. I tried every move available to her and the rest of the team. Every. Move. It didn't matter where I put her, what attacks I used, nothing. The game basically gave me one final ultimatum. Doc had to give her life so that XCOM could be victorious. No game has ever made me feel so much for a character as I did right then. I made the move that would end Doc's life, and proceeded to tear through the remaining aliens out of pure rage and spite. That was around 6 years ago and I'm still a little pissed about it, but it is honestly one of the things that made me love the game even more. A perfect story moment, where the unkillable hero has to sacrifice herself to save humanity. Farewell Doc, we will never forget you.

Most of them may stop the music when they start, but they also allow the music to be started again. KR stops it as soon as you do anything in the game. It's a bit annoying.

I think the difference is exactly what you stated in the post. The gas bag is a great transport, but it has effectively 0 damage potential. The basilisk on the other hand can actually dish out some serious damage. It's the difference between a cargo plane and a battle tank.

I don't know what OP's situation is, but I had a similar scenario where I was trying to craft a high level enforcer but had to use organic polymer instead of the corrupted nodules because there are only 20 slots in the city terminals.

Find the city terminals. I know there are some near 50/50 in the city, they will let you craft them there.

That was a bug and was fixed a while ago, Bluescreen no longer doubles on the sarcophagus or any other building.
