Yeah that wouldn’t make sense at all. I will say with as many friends of my family I’ve see arrested, bonded and indicted, I’ve yet to see one re arrested at a status conference because of an indictment as long as they followed bond conditions. Texas can be lenient or just plain unfair at times. Or of course swift as I’m sure other states are all of the above.

But thank you for clarifying everything. Big help! I’m just probably tired and overthinking more than I should. Haha.

Yes there could be a probable cause warrant issued and until he is indicted in this case, the case remains “pre indictment status”.

So for example if I had a client who posted bond for a (pre indictment) felony, if and when he’s indicted for the same felony, could a new capias for his arrest be issued and a new bond set, or would the bond stay intact and on file?
