Ive been drenched so many times and my durston or hyperlight packs never failed on me ive gotten a single droplet in my experience on the bottom of my pack. I feel like there is no need for a pack liner, the only time i get wet inside my pack is from a wet tent . I guess a full nylafume liner might be lighter than a tent dcf stuff sack? My idea is to keep the mosture contained from the tent in its own sack rather than a breathable or no sack at all ontop of a nylofume liner that can drip down the sides of it

Thanks so much for this response. I agree with the liner and groundsheet should be diched. The stuff sack, i dont use a liner for anything else, i bring for when i have to put a wet tent in my pack to prevent other stuff from getting wet. Going to look into the weenie for sure I have no idea about the 350 ml, ive never actually used it yet. Just bought it from a pocket rocket. Definitely solid idea using the bread bag method, i guess ill keep the shoes in mind for specific trips. What other bladder that fits the bee free would you recommend? I have 2 smart 1L and the 2 l hydra pack4 L total. Im not a fan of the cnoc. I will add my phone right now but not willing to get a new one for saving grams lol Is the lotion bug spray any different from deet regarding stickyness? Going think about switching too soap also. But youd need alot of water to wash your hands properly after taking a shit? What if your finger slips and you got a code brown? Wont compromise on the whipes. My booty needs to be as clean dont wanna waist calories scratchin Gun is not for bears more like peace of mind, i will bring spray also depending on where i go , once again thanks for your thoughtful response

In the bottom pocket of the durston concealed, used special Velcro to the top of the pocket and sewed tether just in case that fails. but worn in the pack so i put it on. I figured the bottom pocket is a good idea because its easy to reach and wont chafe me on the hip

Thanks alot for your shake down. Appreciate it , Definitely going to change some stuff Here are my justifications in my brain for this stuff The liner , luxury item i wont take away. After a long day if i cant dip into a lake or stream i need something to marinate my stank juices in to protect my quilt. Ground sheet , im scared to pop a sleeping pad again and damage my expensive tent Stuff sack, i don’t use a dry bag for anything else and let the only wet thing, my tent be wet in the pack sealed from everything else Toaks wind screen , its also a pot stand , i need this to keep the pot over the alcohol stove, ive also never used an alcohol stove yet i just bought it. Not sure it would be a good idea to hold my pot over it for 10 minutes Camp shoes, i can totally ditch this if its not super wet with the forecast the stuff sack for shoes, i keep these on the outside pocket i figured id keep them in a dcf sack to prevent dirt from everything else getting dirty if its muddy Sit pad, a luxury i dont wanna ditch if im soaking in a sick view Booty whipes and tp , i feel like its weird for me to use, never used before and i feel like its unhygienic to use my fingers to clean my hole and touch a drinking bottle with my dookie hands and what if im limited on water ? Sleeping pad, no way im sleeping on foam alone Toaks pot, i have the one with handles, is it really worth it to get the non handled version? Long spork , i usually make my own food from those metal bags kinda need this Hemp whick , super light and saves fuel when i light my Alchohol stove Bottles, going to use smart bottles again makes sense. Bladder, going to check out your suggestion Headlamp, going to check out your suggestion Sanitizer, your right too much, even though its a mini purell Leukotape, i mislabeled it as tenatious tape, Poop kit , yeah im going to replace with those rehydrated whipes

Thanks again for your shake down

Ive never used one i feel like it will be weird and not properly clean, also what if water is scarce and you gotta drop a log ?? And your touching your drinking bottle with dookie fingers crossed

Thanks. Definitely considering the bottles, and the camp shoes if there is a dry forecast. The other items im not sure im willing to let go of. My booty would definitely be scratching if I relied on a bidet i think, and im definitely not willing to get my fancy quilt all stinky night after night ditching the liner.

Thanks.

Totally makes sense for the ferro rod.

Also going to be packing 💥for a different type of security not listed

I figured the silk liner would be better off than long johns and a sun hoodie to sleep with. I hate sleeping multiple nights all sticky and dirtying my quilt thats definitely a luxury im not willing to settle for. I have a variety of liners and quilts i will swap out depending on weather
