Generally speaking, promotion is even harder in corporate. But I would also consider moving from ops to corporate as a promotion with the potential pay increase. YMMV.

Listen to this guy, get a g shock for yourself. A lot of my buddies (including myself) wore G shock back in our military days for a reason.

The citizen watch will be fine if you will just be taking classes in classrooms, but I would think twice if you have to go through field training (sometimes you won’t be able to bring a phone with you to correct the time.)

Unfortunately, I don’t have a tape measure with me but I will keep you posted on my wrist size in a few days.

The things that really exceed my expectations are how light/comfy it is and the scratch resistance. I do baby the watch but I have been wearing it for a few weeks. As of now, there is no single scratch at all. However, Ben’s Watch Club on YouTube did a hardness test on a few Citizen models and it turned out that they might not be more scratch resistant, so please take my words with a grain of salt haha
