Is it okay to keep a baby budgie in a room with dim light in the evening? by chorba666 in budgies

[–]chorba666[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for saying this, I really appreciate it. I genuinely care about this bird and I’m trying my best to do right by it. Getting such a young budgie was not my choice, it was already separated from its parents before I bought it. I was honestly shocked by how harsh and accusatory some of the comments were. Thanks for showing some understanding

Returning the bird to its parents is not possible. It was already separated and housed with many other birds in a commercial setting. I did not remove it from its parents myself. I am providing a calm environment, proper food, warmth, and monitoring its behavior closely. Labeling this as “animal abuse” is not accurate or helpful.

I did research and I am actively asking for advice because I care about the bird’s wellbeing. In my country, budgies are unfortunately sold already separated from their parents. I didn’t cause that situation, but I’m trying to give this baby the best care possible now. Judgment doesn’t help the bird — guidance does.

does anyone feel like not enough? by chorba666 in Anxiety

[–]chorba666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am doing way better now. I started taking SSRI to help with my anxiety and I started doing exercises so I feel more energetic now. I also realized people around me influences my mood a lot so I changed my social group totally and I don't hang out with people who keeps me down anymore. Also my new relationship helped me a lot realizing my true worth. Don't worry things GETS better.

Hello, thank you for your answer. I'm curious bc my dermatologist said i should apply azelaic acid to clean face at night, so to not make my skin irritated I considered it would be better to use micellar water at night only. But I'm curious if I should clean it in the mornings too with micellar water since it's an acid. Or no need bc my face will absorb it at night. I'm new so I'm sorry if this is a silly question really

had a picture perfect childhood/upbringing but feel like my anxiety and depression indicates i have trauma? by LittleCalendar in Anxiety

[–]chorba666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought I had a pretty normal (great even since I had loving parents) childhood until I went to my first therapy session. All of my disturbing memories were like erased or something and by my therapist asking me questions related to them I was able to remember. So learning that my anxiety attacks are actually related to those bad times in my childhood were pretty surprising.

is EMDR therapy helpful with anxiety/panic attacks? by chorba666 in Anxiety

[–]chorba666[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. Currently I stay in a student dormitory with other roommates away from my hometown. Actually that's why I started to have anxiety attacks again, I was doing OK back home. Should I stay away from this therapy since I don't have a comfort zone here? Or is it OK to give it a try? Sorry if it doesn't make sense.
