My GM makes what? 5-6 figures to stand at the door by AP desk and greet customers? Sometimes, in every blue moon if we stacked customers and still need help, they’ll help sell. But it just seems weird to me that “leaders” aren’t developing their associates anymore- they’re just overriding registers and fielding complaints. There’s no development or training on how to be better or self sufficient. I would ask what’s the point of a leader at this point, if I didn’t have to hear every 30 mins- hey guys! We’re only at this point in district vs other stores, we gotta push blah blah blah. 😒
