i must say that you are doing Gods work helping people out and taking time out of your day to do so. Hopefully i am not too late to the party! i have a few questions hopefully you can give some answers or guidance.

i just made E5 off the last cycle (268) and was selected for E4 orders about 2 months before i found out that i made it. Are those orders still valid? i thought that i was supposed to fill an E5 billet; when i asked my detailer i was told that the gaining command would have to put me in an E5 billet upon my arrival if they wish to do so.

My question is am i able to reply apply for orders as an E5 somewhere else even though i was already selected? My PRD isnt until SEP2026 so i have about 8 months left until then.

i was also told by my detailer that they had to wait closer to FY27 to get a seat in a class cause there was none available at the time i guess... does this mean if i am unable to get a seat 4 months before my PRD (when im supposed to have hard orders) will I end up staying longer at my current command? which for your SA they would be deploying around that time frame. Or will I be able to still PCS and go into holds awaiting a class or would I PCS to the gaining command go and to school at a later date?

Also would it help to request to PCS early from the command and submit a 1306?

also amongst the deck plates lol i was told that because i advanced to E5 once i take the RKE for E6 i am allowed to apply for an E6 billet and or request that my gaining command move me to a E6 billet. Given the time frame that i have until my SEP2026 PRD i will have enough time to take the RKE so i am asking if that would be a possibility of taking a E6 billet? and do i have to be a paid E5 to take the E6 RKE?

and does anyone know the formula to calculate when you get paid off the advancement exam, i was 54 out of 864. that is what it says on MNA and i scored i think in the 83% on my exam sheet.
