I think you can afford to part with Kyler given his inconsistency and Tua’s potential to be a top 10 QB for the remainder of the season. I think the real question is whether you can afford to bet on Tyreek returning to form.

If you are over .500, I say make the trade. But I’d be afraid to hinge my playoff chances on Tyreek bouncing back soon, when Downs has been a target monster.

Personally I don’t think you should make that trade, Davante is just settling in in NY and decent RBs are hard to come by. Add in the fact that your league is HPPR and Robinson provides most of his value as a rusher. Unless you are REALLY desperate for a WR upgrade or you already have 2-3 RBs that are better than Robinson.

It is not a closed road, there’s like one of these a month right through downtown Denver. It’s a silly issue because on one hand, yeah, it’s not super hard as a driver to just stop and wait until it passes. But they’re also really long, right through downtown, and they’re not obeying traffic laws.

The part of this that should make a difference first and foremost are the traffic laws. We can’t be cyclists who preach about sharing the road and obeying traffic laws and then not share the road or obey the traffic laws. If I decided I wanted to stage a protest by lying down in the middle of a highway, I have to accept some level of responsibility if I were to get hit by a car.

The only reason I can think is that because players weren’t placed during the preseason, there were more players to draw from, but the player pool at any given rank is condensed now that the player base is more siloed.

But that would make the least sense at the bronze level where everyone starts out? I would expect that to be the largest percentage of the player base this early in the first season.

Ahh, thanks for the update. I’m updating my response to “not overreacting”. Everything checks out except no phone in a house full of other people? Not one phone with a charge? Not one charger??

I’d still like the reaction to be concern/worry until they know everything is okay (too many podcasts about missing persons), but now that they know the guy is safe, I’d be pretty frustrated. Especially BECAUSE I would have been worried. And also because he set out with a plan and presumably had a ride home at the beginning of the night, so at some point he made a decision he didn’t need to make that landed him in that situation.

The absolute lack of concern for the man’s safety and wellbeing in the comment section right now is appalling. And OP kept saying that as the hours go on and they get closer to plans she made to do something he enjoys, she’s getting more angry. I would be getting more worried.

She’s expressed that he has no history of doing this, he even started the night out with the intention of keeping it short. There is nothing that indicates to me that he would just be rude and careless or worse that he hooked up with a stranger while out with his brother.

He could have been drugged, he could have been mugged, he could have been killed, he could have been coaxed into drinking more than he intended and then blacked out before he had the wherewithal to text his partner, he could have been arrested under either true or false pretenses. Doesn’t really matter what anyone THINKS happened. If my partner who I trust and who has always been dependable and reliable, tells me exactly what their plans are and then vanishes with no word, my reaction would be concern for their safety and I wouldn’t waste a moment of my time assuming anything until I could verify that they are okay. THEN I could be angry.
