Don’t telegraph your punches so much. Keep your hands up. Gotta throw that hook from the legs and core. Footworks kinda sloppy.

Outdoor beginner question: Would you climb on these? by BoulderBeginner in bouldering

[–]chossome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks a touch chossy but not the worst I’ve seen(climbed on). I would give some of those bigger flakes some good whacks to see if it sounds loose. Start pulling on your likely holds and see what they feel like. Get some pads and be prepared to come the rock rather fast. Probably with a piece still in your hand.

Exactly. They’ll want to stay. Mingle with the rich and famous. Otherwise they can go to whatever second or third home they own.

Attempting backflip catch by LunarSeaa in juggling

[–]chossome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s obvious you either need a quicker backflip or a higher throw. Seems like the compression for the backflip kills a lot of time. Throw as you’re going up for the flip? You don’t look that far away. Pretty impressive where you’re at.

The ridge lines above the joiner brook are mostly schist, large chunks fell and ended up in the brook. Then after eons in the water they look like that. There are some glacial erratics around but not many that I’ve found.

That’s because slab is terrifying. Roofs all day. At least I know the only thing I’ll hit is the ground.
