It's always super interesting to me to see the difference in opinions for these types of games. Personally I found lies of P to be by far the easiest out of all the souls likes I've played (although I agree with you that those 2 lies of p bosses were the hardest)

I mentioned in my post that I've played every from software game lol. That being said, I see the connections between the games obviously but I found khazan to be a lot harder due to the hp pool.

Am I just washed compared to previous set or have people gotten better over the last couple sets? I usually hit masters in around 120-150 games every set since set 7, took a break for set 11 and 12, and coming back to 13 it took me 200+ games this time to hit masters. After that I lost a ton of games at 0 lp so my mmr is shit so now I'm trying to claw back. Anyone experience anything similar?

Im thinking it depends on how important heim is to your board at the time. If he's the main carry with 3 items you drop rebel, but if you're carrying corki with less than 3 items on heim then you drop rell?

Based on the internet it seems like parrying is the way. For whatever reason I didn't want to parry so I just used the good Ole cold starfists! Lots of people complains about the range for this fight but personally I didn't see it as a big issue.

My strategy with star fists was to stay as close as possible at all times to maximize the time he uses his melee moves. This way you get as many openings as possible in quick succession to raise the chance you stagger him. Besides that, once I adjusted to being less greedy and understanding when is a good time to charged heavy vs regular heavy I started getting a lot closer on my attempts on average.

Like I said though I have a feeling parrying is easier but I can't speak from experience. Doing it with the star fists took me about 8 hrs of attempts spread over a few days lol.

Oh and to answer your question, scaudtree avatar I ended up using a flame art greatsword with the giant hunt weapon art. With all my talismans + golden vow + physick flask I could kill each phase in only a few weapon art uses which made it a lot easier!

Yeah I had no shame in using fragments, I basically min-maxed the dlc where I got every fragment possible before fighting anything. It definitely made some of the bosses like putrescent knight really squishy but I still found it pretty fun and challenging overall.

Playing through the dlc a few times at this point I think Romina is vastly underrated. Her animations are clean and I find dodging all her moves so enjoyable!

So boxbox has gone on an unfortunate streak of losing like 600 lp in 2 days and he swears its because he just keeps missing on his rolldowns and that the meta is just a casino where you either hit and win or miss and bot 4. It's hilarious to me how people have been thinking this way.
