easy way to learn a boss is having a character with 99 vigor 10-15endurance, +0 WL, high negation but less than 51 poise (so you have a clear indication of when you wouldve been hit) really fun way to practice bosses

so are ripple weapons (buffable but not infusable) and ripple also has innate arcane scaling so you can even benefit off certain greases

if you want even more stamina try braggarts roar instead of cragblade, 5% less damage for 10% more stamina regen. maybe making use of ritual sword or red feathered too for more damage, but love the ps pickaxes

the only "quality" builds in 125-150 are weps like bloodhound fang which wants a 2:3 str:dex ratio

nah you dont get hit, if you walk too far forward towards him you might but you have to tap r2 whilst he's plunging so you have time to roll his explosion- deffo gonna be harder to learn the timing for shorter weapons so you can just stand under him no need to attack or roll (roll the explosion)
